Agrico’s terminal teams have been hard at work maintaining/improving facilities and equipment as part of our ongoing
focus on operational excellence. At Hamilton terminal, in addition to the standard R&M items, a geotextile
membrane liner has been installed in the liquid storage dyke, liquid tanks 1 and 2 have been sandblasted/ painted,
and dry fertilizer domes 1, 2 and 3 have all been re-shingled over the past few months.
Upcoming projects for 2017 include:
• Leasing a new loader
• Replacing the current liquid vessel receiving line
• Installing an inline liquid blending system
• Building a maintenance shop
At our St. Thomas terminal, a new maintenance shop was built earlier this year and the old shop was renovated into a
multi-use meeting/kitchen area. Over the next few months, there are plans to purchase a trackmobile with R/C
and replace the existing siding on the fertilizer plant.
The Oak Bluff terminal has also implemented a number of improvements, including:
• A significant expansion of the main office
• Renovation of the operations office
• Leasing a new loader
• Purchasing a trackmobile with R/C
Going forward, Agrico will continue to embrace initiatives that benefit health, safety and the environment, improve
efficiency, and bring value to our customers.
